Beauty has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in my mother's salon in Venezuela; watching her work, learning what it means to make someone feel genuinely good about themselves, and falling in love with the craft before I was old enough to understand it properly. I started training at 16. Some things are just in you.
After completing a degree in Venezuela and building my foundation in beauty, I made the decision to move to England in 2012; arriving in Bournemouth with big ambitions, no family nearby, and a determination to build something of my own. I spent years working for others, learning the UK industry, investing in every course I could find. And then, nearly nine years ago, I opened Katherine Vitoria Studio.
What I do
I specialise in PMU brows, advanced skin treatments and non-surgical aesthetic treatments for women who want to look naturally their best, not obviously done. My studio on Wimborne Road in Bournemouth offers everything from brow design, henna brows and permanent makeup to skin boosters, Profhilo, microneedling, PRP, advanced facials and more.
My clients are mostly busy women aged 35 to 55 who want results they can trust, from someone who genuinely knows what they're doing. Many have been coming to me for over a decade. That kind of loyalty means everything to me and it's the reason I've never stopped learning.
My approach
I believe in results that feel like you, not a version of you that someone else decided looked better. My whole philosophy is built around natural outcomes, whether that's a set of PMU brows that genuinely suits your face, or a Profhilo treatment that makes you look refreshed rather than treated. I want people to leave my studio and have someone say "you look well" not "what have you had done?"
I also bring something to this work that goes beyond technical skill. I come from a medical family, doctors, nurses and cosmetologists; I believe it reflect in how I approach every treatment with a level of care, precision and responsibility that I take seriously. I research everything thoroughly before I offer it.
Qualifications & training
Since arriving in the UK, I have completed more than 45 certified courses in basic and advanced beauty, permanent makeup and aesthetic treatments, training with some of the most respected practitioners and brands in the industry. I hold full insurance and work to the highest professional standards at all times.

A little more about me
I am neurodiverse, I was diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia at 16, and with autism and ADHD more recently. Far from holding me back, understanding how my brain works has made me a better practitioner, more detail-oriented, more empathetic, more attuned to the clients in my chair. I advocate openly for neurodiversity and I know that many of the women I see in my studio are navigating similar things themselves.
I work school hours, which means my availability is intentionally limited and every appointment gets my complete, undivided attention. My books fill up, and I am proud of that.
