EXOSOME THERAPY · MICRONEEDLING
Your skin's own
repair system, amplified
A calm, considered skin-renewal treatment that
works with your skin’s own repair process, not against it.

WHAT IT IS
Exosomes are microscopic messengers; tiny vesicles that carry growth factors, peptides and other signals that help cells communicate, repair and renew.
In skincare, an aesthetic-grade exosome serum is applied to the skin to support its natural recovery and refresh its overall quality.
Exosomes + Microneedling
Microneedling creates tiny, controlled channels in the skin so the exosome serum can be delivered exactly where it can do the most good; while the needling itself prompts the skin to produce fresh collagen. Together, they do far more than either step alone.

HOW IT WORKS
Gently prompting your skin to renew itself
Microneedling uses a precision device to create thousands of microscopic channels in the upper layers of the skin. Your skin reads these as a signal to begin its natural repair response, ramping up the production of collagen and elastin, the proteins that keep skin looking firm, smooth and resilient.
This process is often called collagen induction therapy.
Because those channels are open and receptive immediately afterwards, it’s the ideal moment to apply the exosome serum.
The exosomes act as additional “instructions”, helping to support the skin’s recovery, soothe the treated area and encourage a healthy, refreshed-looking complexion. The enzyme peel beforehand clears away dull surface cells so the treatment can work on its best canvas, and LED light therapy at the end helps to calm and comfort the skin.
The result is a treatment designed to improve the skin’s texture, tone and overall quality over time.
WHY THEY'RE PAIRED
Better together than apart
Microneedling and exosomes are powerful individually. Combined, each makes the other work harder; which is exactly why they’re paired.

IS IT PAINFUL?
Comfortable, not daunting
Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how manageable this treatment is. A numbing cream is applied before microneedling, so the needling itself usually feels like a light prickling or a mild scratchy sensation rather than anything sharp.
The enzyme peel may give a gentle tingle, and the LED stage is completely relaxing. Everyone’s tolerance is different, and your comfort guides the pace throughout, we never rush. Afterwards, the skin can feel a little warm or tight, much like a mild sunburn, which settles quickly.
How many treatments, and when you’ll see them
Because this treatment works by gently encouraging your skin’s own renewal, results develop over weeks rather than overnight. A course gives the most rewarding, longest-lasting outcome.
A recommended course
For most skin concerns I recommend a course of three to four treatments, spaced around three to four weeks apart.
This rhythm allows the skin to renew between sessions and lets results build steadily. Many clients then choose a maintenance treatment every few months to keep their results looking their best.
How long results last
A fresh, glowing look often appears within the first week or two as the skin recovers. The deeper improvements from collagen renewal continue developing for several weeks afterwards.
With a completed course and good skincare and sun protection, results can be enjoyed for many months, topped up with occasional maintenance. Individual results always vary.

IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
This treatment is a wonderful option for many people, but it isn’t suitable for everyone. Your consultation and a full medical history come first.

RISK & AFTERCARE
Honest about what’s normal and what isn’t
What is normal
Redness, warmth, mild swelling and a sandpaper-like texture are common in the first 24–72 hours — rather like a mild sunburn. Some clients notice light flaking or dryness as the skin renews. This all settles on its own with good aftercare.
You’ll leave with clear, personalised aftercare: keep the skin clean and protected, avoid make-up and active skincare for a short window, skip heat and exercise for a day or two, and use diligent SPF.
Less common risks
As with any treatment that breaches the skin barrier, there are small risks to be aware of: temporary bruising or pinpoint bleeding, sensitivity, a localised reaction to a product, post-inflammatory pigment changes (particularly in deeper skin tones), reactivation of cold sores, or rarely, and usually linked to aftercare, infection.
A thorough consultation, proper technique and following your aftercare keep these risks low. If anything ever concerns you after a treatment, you contact me directly

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions, answered
How is this different from a regular microneedling facial? Standard microneedling prompts collagen renewal on its own. Here, that step is enhanced with a topical exosome serum applied while the skin is most receptive, plus an enzyme peel to prepare the skin and LED to calm it afterwards a more complete, layered treatment in a single visit.
Will I be able to go back to work or out afterwards? Most people are a little pink and warm for the first day or so, similar to mild sunburn. Many feel comfortable with light mineral make-up after the recommended window, but it’s worth planning the treatment when you don’t have an important event the very next day. We’ll discuss timing at your consultation.
Can I have it alongside other treatments? Often, yes, but timing and suitability depend on what else you’re having and your skin’s needs. That’s exactly the kind of thing we’ll plan together at your consultation.
Is a consultation really necessary before booking? If you are a new client or have not being in the salon for a facial in a long time, yes! we will highly recommend it first. . A consultation lets me review your skin, your medical history and your goals, confirm the treatment is right and safe for you, and arrange a patch test where appropriate. It’s also your chance to ask anything at all
How should I prepare for my appointment? Arrive with clean, product-free skin if you can, avoid sun exposure and sunbeds beforehand, and pause retinoids and strong actives for a few days as advised.
